Mickey Rourke Spirit Awards

The Independent Spirit Awards were held yesterday in Santa Monica to honor films made for under 20 million. To see the full list of winners click here. But the must-see video everyone is buzzing about was Mickey Rourke’s acceptance speech! According to PerezHilton, he managed to “forget co-star Marisa Tomei’s name, threaten comedian Rainn Wilson for impersonating him earlier in the night, dedicate the award to [his recently deceased dog] Loki, completely idolize yet humiliate Eric Roberts and throw out a number of expletives all in the span of 6 minutes. Amazing!”

 

Hollywood ASST
