Heidi & Spencer Elope! Top 5 Ridiculous Speidi Parody Videos.

I think most of us can admit to watching the occasional Hills episode…or marathon. There’s something oddly appealing about watching the stars spend their days shopping, going out and fake fighting with each other about things that don’t really matter. It’s a guilty pleasure. I just read that Heidi and Spencer supposedly got married in Mexico. But some folks think this is really just a publicity stunt for season 5. To celebrate Speidi’s (not yet legal) marriage, here are the top 5 ridiculous Speidi parodies.

On the Next Arrested Development…The Movie! 5 Hilarious Videos to Tide You Over Until the Bluths Hit the Big Screen.

Arrested Development is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Unfortunately, after critical acclaim, three glorious, ratings-challenged seasons and a cult following, the show was canceled. There was talk of Arrested Development: The Movie back then, but ultimately the rumors fizzled and the project never made it to the big screen. So I was thrilled last week to see that the movie may indeed become a reality, as it’s sounding like the creators Ron Howard and Mitch Hurwitz have officially set up the film at Fox Searchlight. To celebrate this momentous occassion, I’ve put together 5 videos from the very outspoken cast along with great moments in Arrested Development history. Stuck in the airport over Thanksgiving? You can watch Seasons 1-3 on our Arrested Development showpage.

1. David Cross, “Tobias Fünke,” rants against Fox. Despite critical acclaim, they just never had the ratings they needed to stay on the air.

How Online Video Can Save You Over $1000 a Year

November 21, 2008 by marie · 1 Comment

Here’s an actual copy of my November 2008 Comcast Bill.

Yikes! I watch TV online but also have roommates and so unfortunately can’t make the executive decision to cancel our cable television package.  But one day, when I have my own place, I definitely won’t be paying Comcast $100/month. Internet is a necessity, cable television is not. These are tough times and watching TV online is a fantastic alternative. This is a relatively easy way to save yourself some money!

Here are 5 tips to enjoying TV online if you’re considering ditching cable altogether.

1. TV Shows - All the major networks (CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC, CW) have free full episodes of their shows online. Check out our show pages and catch up on Family Guy, CSI, Gossip Girl and more!

2. More TV Shows - In addition to the big guys, cable channels like MTV and FX have put their shows online. Watch The Hills and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Not sure if your favorite show is online? Check our Online TV Guide.

3. NFL - Monday Night Football more your thing? Search for a favorite team like the Dallas Cowboys to find all the latest news, highlights and analysis.

4. Music Videos - Rihanna fan? Who isn’t! All the best music videos debut online faster than they premiere on MTV or VH1.  Get the latest news, music videos and interviews from superstars like Rihanna, Britney and Lil Wayne.

5. Free Movies - You can even find free, full-length movies online these days, from blockbusters like Master and Commander to indie darlings like Sideways.

Twilight the Movie: Your Video Guide to What All Those Fanpires Are Screaming About.

November 18, 2008 by marie · Leave a Comment

Twilight is a phenomenon. Based on the best selling books by Stephanie Meyer, it’s about “a teenage girl [Bella] who risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire [Edward].” The movie opens this Friday, (with sold-out midnight screenings Thursday night) and it can’t come soon enough for diehard fans. The movie premiered yesterday in LA, with stressed-out Hollywood assistants scrambling to get tickets for kids of clients and execs, and fanpires screaming so unbelievably loud, the vampire-star Robert Pattinson claimed to have gone “completely deaf.”

I have to admit, the massive buzz surrounding the film has piqued my interest and I’d like to check it out. If you’re a Twilight newbie like me, here are 5 videos to prep you for this weekend’s fanpire pandemonium!
